Plato's Chakras

Plato said, of creativity, that there were rings that connected the divine source of creation, and thus the spark for all creativity, to the artist.  Each form of creativity was a distance from the divine: pure art being the closest, master craftsmanship next ring, innovative craft the third ring and so forth.  Without too much metaphorical insight one can notice the similarity between this and the eastern chakra system where the lowest chakra deals with lusts and hungers, whereas the highest is the formation of abstract thought and communion with the universe.  

Yet another case of 'same thing different jargon'.
